Thinking Big at the Museum

This is the story of Ezra, age 5, and his dad Brandon and what they did on a recent visit to Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh:

“My son Ezra (5) and I visited the museum on Friday.  We’re members and come frequently so that day was dedicated soley to the Build-It section.  On the way there, Ezra was in the backseat of the car drawing his blueprint of what he wanted to build. With some help, he was able to build exactly what he wanted (it had to be a pitched roof).

The staff were incredible. One young woman staff member noticed him there for a while and asked him some great questions.  She generated a lot of interest by bringing in other staff to see him building….they were all great….he was SO proud.”

What a cool house Ezra!  And that helpful staff member was Amanda Glevicky.

We’d like to hear your story about what you and your family did at the Children’s Museum.  Send it to TheCuriosityLab@gmail.com, and include photos if you have them.  Thanks!
